IBPS Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria of IBPS are as follows:

  1. Educational Qualification

The eligibility for IBPS in educational terms is that the candidate should possess a graduation degree from a recognized university.

2. Nationality of Banking Exam 2022

The candidates who belong to the following nations can apply for IBPS 2022

  • Citizen of India
  • Citizens of Nepal and Bhutan
  • Refugees from Tibet who came to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of Permanent Settlement.
  • People of Indian Origin who migrated from Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, or East African Countries such as Zaire, Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Malawi, and these residents are permanent settlers now.

3. Age Eligibility of banking exam 2022

  • Candidates applying for this exam must not be less than 20 years of age and more than 30 years of age at the time of application.

5. Educational Qualification

The educational qualifications are as follows:-

  • Graduation:- The candidates must be a graduate in any stream from a recognized university.
  • Language Proficiency:-The candidate must be able to read, speak and write the language of a particular State/UTs
  • Computer Knowledge:-The candidate must have a basic knowledge of computers.

The exam pattern IBPS is divided into 3 sections:-

  • Preliminary Examination
  • Mains Examination
  • Interview

 

Preliminary Examination

  • This exam is an objective type exam.
  • The exam will be conducted in online mode.
  • The exam will be divided into 3 sections:-English Language, Reasoning Ability, Quantitative Aptitude.
  • The total Questions are 100 carrying one mark each.

Negative Marking Scheme

The negative marking scheme of IBPS is as follows

  • One mark is allotted for every correct answer.
  • Nil or zero marks are awarded for every unanswered question.
  • 25 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.

 

 IBPS 2022 Interview

The Interview details are given below:-

  • Candidates who clear the Mains are called upon for the final round i.e. Interview.
  • The interview is of 100 marks
  • The final merit list is made based on the Mains and the Interview marks.
  • The interview is taken in Offline Mode at the designated center by the Institute of Banking Personnel(IBPS).
