Educational Qualification
- Every applicant must have passed 10th grade (Matriculation/SSC) in their respective state or union territory
- To be qualified for Railway selection, an applicant must have an ITI degree or diploma if he or she does not have a 10th-grade education
Age Limit
- Anyone interested in appearing in the RRB Selection process must be at least 18 years old and no older than 33 years old
Age Limit Relaxation
- The RRC age restriction for candidates in the OBC category has been raised by three years
- A 5-year extension is available to candidates who fall into the SC or ST categories
- The RRC age limit would be increased by up to ten years for those who apply under the PwBD category
Special Case Eligibility
- The RRC Age Limit relaxation applies if you are a widow, divorced, or judicially separated person who has not remarried
- There is an age relaxation if you are an ex-serviceman interested in the RRB selection process
- Candidates must have been born between January 1, 1980, and December 31, 1989, in the state of Jammu & Kashmir
