As of 2019, the SSC GD constable exam has already been conducted in the months of February and March. The results came out on 21st June 2019.

Age limit

Aspiring candidates must be between the ages of 18 and 23 years as on 1.8.2018 (as the examination of 2018 has elapsed, the age limit will be taken from the previous year’s August month).

Qualifications:

  1. Candidate should have passed 10th class/matriculation from a recognised Board/University. This qualification must also be acquired by 1.1.2018 (previous August).
  2. All required documents must be produced (originals + self-attested copies), and these shall be verified during DME by the CAPF board.
  3. Candidates must be citizens of India. The vacancies listed are also based on state/UT vacancies. Hence, candidates ought to submit permanent resident certificates/domicile certificates as

Structure

The exams that one must qualify in to be employed via SSC GD constable exam are:

  1. Computer Based Examination (CBE)
  2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
  3. Physical Standard Test (PST)
  4. Detailed Medical Examination (DME)

Pattern:
