Preparing for any exam needs one to be well versed with the syllabus. Following is the syllabus of the SSC CHSL exam-

Subjects and their weightage

SSC CHSL Exam has 4 sections. They are as follows-

  • General Intelligence: 25 questions, 50 marks
  • English: 25 questions, 50 marks
  • Quantitative Aptitude: 25 questions, 50 marks
  • General Awareness: 25 questions, 50 marks

The SSC CHSL Tier-I exam is one hour long.

With the syllabus taken care of, here are some suggestions one can keep in mind that will enable them to prepare well for the exam in one month-

  • Stay tuned to the daily current affairs-

Competitive government exams like the SSC CHSL require their candidates to be well aware of daily current affairs. Edureify suggests not waiting till the last minute to get hold of the trending news, rather check out our daily current affairs section to be well prepared in advance.

  • Figure out your weaknesses-

Speaking from a personal perspective it is always advisable to have a strategy on how to tackle one’s weaknesses and strengths. We suggest one a lot more time, say 2 hours for Quantitative Aptitude given it requires a bit more critical thinking. For the rest of the subjects like English and General Intelligence, an hour or 1.5 hours daily will be helpful.

  • Take Mock Tests-

Mock tests are always handy when it comes to wholesome exam preparations. Aspirants can solve SSC CHSL mock tests every alternate day, say 2 3 sets of these tests per day. The more one takes these tests they will be ready for what to expect on the actual day of the exam.

But always remember, do not let low marks obtained in the mock tests be a determinant of how well prepared you are. Mock tests are only meant to help you realize your strengths and weaknesses. The marks one scores in these tests are not an indicator of what is actually to be the result of the real exam.

These were some of the tips one can use during their one-month preparation for the SSC CHSL exam. With Edureify by your side, we are sure candidates will not have to go look anywhere else to get hold of the daily current affairs, study materials, and even mock tests. Together with Edureify, we are sure candidates will have a successful preparation for the SSC CHSL exam and even get their desired result.

All the best candidates!
