Eligibility Criteria
Following are the requirements that a candidate needs to fulfill to be able to apply for the RBI Grade B exam-
- Nationality- candidate must belong to one of the following nationality-
o India
o Nepal
o Bhutan
- Age Limit– candidates must be within the age limit of 21 to 30 years. Aspirants who are pursuing M.Phil or Ph.D. have an upper age limit of 32 and 34 years respectively.
- Educational Qualification– following are the educational qualification needed for each post-
o Officers in Grade ‘B’ (DR) General- Graduation in any discipline/ Equivalent technical or professional degree with a minimum of 60% marks
o Officers in Grade ‘B’(DR) DEPR- A Masters Degree in Economics/ Econometrics/ Quantitative Economics/ Mathematical Economics/ Integrated Economics Course/ Finance with a minimum of 55% marks
o Officers in Grade ‘B’ (DR) DSIM- A Masters Degree in Statistics/ Mathematical Statistics/ Mathematical Economics/ Econometrics/ Statistics & Informatics from IIT-Kharagpur/ Applied Statistics & Informative from IIT- Bombay with a minimum of 55% marks
