Eligibility
Here are the prerequisites that an aspirant must fulfill to be eligible for the SSC GD Constable exam-
- Educational Qualification-
Candidates must have passed their class 10th, or equivalent exam, to register for the SSC GD Constable Exam.
- Age Limit-
As per the last circular issued on 1.08.2021, the age limit of candidates who want to appear for the SSC GD Constable exam must be within 18 to 23 years of age.

Vacancy
As per the 2021 curriculum, the total vacancy for the SSC GD Constable combined posts was 25,271. Out of the total availability, 22,424 posts were for male candidates and 2,847 posts were for female candidates.
Salary
The SSC GD Constable exam is so popular because of the reputation and lucrative benefits associated with the posts. The initial salary is somewhere around Rs. 21,700 to Rs. 23, 572 per month. Depending on experience and further demarcation of the posts, the salary can be up to Rs. 69,100.
