2. ‘Anchal’, Rajasthan’s special health care Abhiyan, launched for pregnant women-
- ‘Anchal’, a special health care Abhiyan for pregnant women, has been launched in the Karauli district of Rajasthan for pregnant women.
- The Abhiyan has benefited for than 13 thousand women.
- 13,144 women were tested for their hemoglobin during the campaign. Out of them, 11,202 women were found to be anemic.
- Proper medicine and a nutritious diet were prescribed to these women along with the advice to remain stress-free.
3. Gandhi Citizenship Education Prize set up by Portugal-
- Antonio Costa, the Prime Minister of Portugal, set up the Gandhi Citizenship Education Prize last month to promote the ideals of Mahatma Gandhi.

4. For 2021-22, Government approved an 8.1% EPF interest rate-
- 8.1% rate of interest has been levied on Employee’s Provident Fund (EPF) deposits for 2021-22 by the government.
- The Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) had decided earlier this March to lower the interest on provident fund deposits for 2021-22 from 8.5% to 8.1%

- Chandigarh is to house a heritage center of the Indian Air Force.

- More than 7,000 sailors, airmen, and marines from 16 nations, including Finland and Sweden, the two aspiring NATO members, began the two-week US-led naval exercise in the Baltic Sea.
- The BALTOPS is an annual naval exercise that began in 1972 is not carried out in response to any particular danger.

7. The first-ever National Air Sports Policy 2022 has been announced-
- Jyotiraditya Scindia, the Union Civil Aviation Minister, has announced the first-ever National Air Sports Policy in New Delhi.
- The aim behind the policy is to make India one of the top air sporting nations by 2030.
