2. The New DG of BCAS: Senior IPS Zulfiqar Hasan-
- The new Director-General of the Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS) is appointed to be the Senior IPS officer, Zulfiqar Hasan.
- According to the official order, Zulfiqar’s appointment is “for a tenure up to his superannuation on 31.10.2024”.
- Zulfiqar is a West Bengal cadre 1988 batch of IPS officers and has been serving as the Special Director General of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) in Delhi.

- This supercomputer outperformed Japan’s supercomputer Fugaku and became the world’s fastest computer.
