1. NIRYAT Site and Vanijya Bhawan to be inaugurated by PM Narendra Modi-
- “Vanijya Bhawan”, the new Ministry of Commerce and Industry’s office complex, and the “National Import-Export Record for Yearly Analysis of Trade” NIRYAT portal, will be inaugurated by PM Modi.
- The portal will provide information and logistics on India’s international trade.
- The new portal will benefit both the department of commerce and the department for the promotion of industry and international trade.
- Vanijya Bhawan and NIRYAT portal will serve as an essential and integral contemporary office complex.
2. Seismology Observatory unveiled by the Union Minister in Udhampur-
- The Union Minister of Jammu and Kashmir, Dr. Jitendra Singh, inaugurated the Seismology Observatory in the Udhampur district’s Dandayal neighborhood.
- This is the third such center being inaugurated in Jammu & Kashmir.
- 20 lakh rupees have been invested by the Ministry of Earth Science to establish this third observatory.
3. Five villages in Gujarat constituted India’s first ‘Balika Panchayat’-
- Five villages of the Kutch district of Gujarat have started the country’s first even ‘Balika Panchayat’.
- The initiative is taken to promote the social and political development of the girls and also propagate their active participation in politics.
- Kunaria, Vadsar, Motagua, and Maska villages of the Kutch district have begun this initiative.
- The Women and Child Development Welfare Department of the government of Gujarat have launched this initiative under the ‘Beti Bachao Beti Padhao’ campaign.
- The strategic planning of launching this initiative across the country is being planned by the department.

- The “SIB TIF Online” portal for the corporate EXIM customers is launched by the South Indian Bank.

1. ISRO launches the Indian Communication Satellite GSAT-24 successfully-
- The GSAT-24 is launched by the NewSpace India Limited (NSIL).
- The launch is made by following the space reforms that lease the Direct-to-Home (DTH) service provider Tata Play for the entire satellite’s capacity.
- GSAT-24 is the company’s first “demand-driven” communication satellite mission.
- The Indian Space Research Organization for NSIL developed and also successfully launched the satellite into the geostationary orbit by the Ariane 5 rocket from Kourou in French Guiana.

- The 38 years Indian seam-bowling allrounder Rumeli Dhar announced her retirement from international cricket.
