1. The Central Advisory Board on Archaeology re-established by the Government-

  • To promote ties between the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) and people working in the field of archaeological research, the Central Advisory Board on Archaeology (CABA) was established seven years ago.
  • The Central Advisory Board on Archaeology has been re-established by the government.
  • The ASI reconstituted the board where the Cultural Minister is the Chairwoman and other members include officials from the Culture Ministry and ASI, MPs, State Government nominations, representatives of Universities, Scientists, and Indus Valley Script experts.

2. Re-establishment of Inter-State council under PM Modi’s Leadership-

  • With PM Modi as the Chairman and all the state’s Chief Minister and the six Union ministers as members, the Inter-State Council is made.
  • The permanent invitees to the Inter-State Council will be the ten union ministers.
  • The Inter-State Council’s standing committee is also reestablished with Union Home Minister Amit Shah as the Chairman.

International Current Affairs

1. To establish a framework for climate action, India and UAE signed an MOU-

  • India and UAE have signed an MoU the objective of which is to build a framework to enhance and facilitate bilateral cooperation on climate action.
  • The MoU will also contribute towards implementing the Paris Agreement.
  • Bhupendar Yadav, the Union Minister of Environment, Forest and Climate Change with Sultan Al Jaber of UAE signed the MoU.

2. The first Global Report on Assistive Technology released by UNICEF-WHO-

  • The Global Report on Assistive Technology (GReAT) is released by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF).
  • The report includes 10 important actionable suggestions for enhancing access to assistive technology for all children along with evidence-based best practice samples.

2. India won 33 medals at the ISSF Junior World Cup 2022-

  • The Junior World Cup of the International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) 2022 was held at Suhl in Germany.
  • Manu Bhaker and Sourabh Chaudhary, the ace shooters, led the Indian contingent.
  • The Indian junior shooting team came in the first position overall.
  • In total India won 33 medals that include 13 gold, 15 silver, and 5 bronze.
  • Italy came in second place with four gold medals.

  • Bollywood star Nawazuddin Siddiqui is recognized for his contribution to cinema with an international award.
  • Vincent de Paul, the Emmy award-winning American star bestowed the honor to Siddiqui at the French Riviera Film Festival.
