The Reserve Bank of India conducts the RBI Group B Exam to recruit eligible candidates for the post of Grade B officers in its various branches across the country. The RBI Grade B exam is one of the most important exams in the country because of the excellent pay scale and reputed job profile. 

The online registration for the exam had begun on the 28th of March and was available till the 18th of April, 2022. The 2022 round of the RBI Grade B Phase I exam is scheduled for May. Eligibility 

Interested candidates who would like to appear for the RBI Grade-B Exam need to fulfill the following requirements-

  • Is a citizen of India
  • Is within the age limit of 21-30 years. For those candidates holding an M.Phil or Ph.D., the upper age limit is 32 and 34 respectively. Other categories also have certain age relaxation.
  • Has a Graduate degree with a 60% aggregate score in a relevant field or its equivalent. As the seniority posts increase, the candidate must hold a Master’s degree in certain specific subjects.

Exam Pattern

The RBI Grade-B Exam is conducted in three phases-

  • Phase-I Exam
  • Phase-II Exam
  • Interview Round

The mode of the exam, whether online or offline, depends on the post in which one is applying.

Syllabus And Weightage

The Phase-I of the RBI Grade-B Exam, the Prelims Exam, consists of a single paper which is of 200 marks. Aspirants have 120 minutes to complete the paper. The sections in the Prelims paper are as follows-
