2. A tragic road accident in the valley of Ladakh kills seven Army jawans and injures 19 other jawans-
- Seven Army jawans were killed and 19 are injured in a tragic road accident in the Turtuk sector of Ladakh.
- The bus carrying 26 soldiers was moving from a transit camp in Partapur to a forward location in sub-sector Hanif in the Turtuk forward area.
- The bus skidded off the road and fell 60 feet down into the Shyok River in the Turtuk sector.
3. PM Modi declared that Indian startups produced a lot of value, even during the pandemic-
- On Sunday, 29th May 2022, PM Modi said that Indian startups have been producing a lot of value and wealth with budding entrepreneurs coming from smaller cities and towns.
- PM Modi also noted that the number of unicorns has reached the 10-mark this month.
- The announcement was made on PM Modi’s radio talk show “Mann ki Baat”.

- US President Joe Biden has recently signed an executive order to improve accountability in the policy.
- The order was signed on the second death anniversary of George Floyd, i.e., on the 28th of May 2022.

- A team of experts from the Zoological Survey of India (ZSI) and the University of Calcutta identified and analyzed the Sela Macaque, the new-to-science primate.
